Reciprocating – Piston Type

Oasis piston pumps are used to lower the ground water level. The design incorporates twin cylinders coupled with a quadruple acting crank shaft. The pulsating intermittent vacuum created by the cylinders helps prevent clogging of the well point slots at the point of suction and is particularly effective in soil dominated by clay. The pump is well suited for well point dewatering by gravity and vacuum. This pump can also be effective in horizontal dewatering systems.

As the pump has a very low flow and head, the primary application is in low preamble areas like clay, where no solid or silt particles are present.
